Our farm, Final Frontier Alpacas is situated in far southern New Mexico, not far
from the Rio Grande River. We are located just 20 minutes north of El Paso, Texas
just across the stateline. Our small ranchito is situated on 2 acres of beautiful
irrigated farm land with an abundance of pine trees. This provides us an excellent
environment to breed and raise “superior” fleeced Alpacas! Our current herd of
20+ Huacaya alpacas is multi-colored and award winning. A majority of our
breeding stock are blue ribbon or champion winners themselves or they are
producers of such.
Since the beginning of our farm in 2002, our herd has grown and so has our love
and knowledge of alpacas. We truly enjoy our alpacas and are excited about
sharing information with established breeders and are anxious to introduce
prospective owners to the industry.
We are small and use a "hands on" approach and spend quite a bit of time with
our alpacas. Consequently, our animals feel very comfortable with people, and
are easy to halter, lead and manage. We are constantly improving our breeding
program. We strive to provide the most desirable animal by carefully selecting
herdsires and breeding females for their genetic diversity, sound conformation,
superior fiber characteristics, unique color, and gentle disposition.
We achieve this goal by breeding our females to some of the top nationally known
bloodlines in the country and of course, by breeding to our own wonderful
selection of herdsires – Xanadu P. Taliensen, Final Frontier’s Beam Me Up, Final
Frontier’s Dr. McCoy, La Buena Vida’s Scotty, and our five time color champion –
Crescent Moon’s Pinnacle (Legacy son). Pinnacle babies are now arriving -
WOW! We are very excited about these babies!
